Checks

Q. When do I get my first check?

  • A. 3 months from the 1st First of the month since you joined
  • B. Say you joined on the 15th of January.
    1. Send us your invoices by the 10th of the month. (Feb 10 in this example)
    2. The 20th to 21st of the month we send to the company that supplies the rebate (Feb 20th)
    3. They receive and process and mail to us by (March 15th)
    4. We run bills the 25th of very month. (March 25)
    5. You get the check by April 1st or of something goes wrong, the 30th.

Q. What happens if I miss the 10th?
A. Then you would be charged a late fee of 25% until the 10th of the following month. It after that date, it would be 50% of your rebate.
Q. Is there a fee for you processing my rebates
A. Yes, 15% is the normal Fee, if you are to get $ 1.00 in rebate, we keep .15 cents and send you .85 cents
Q. How do I submit my invoices?
A. The preferred way is to email to Karen.Crawford@rpiausa.org or
B. Snail Mail them to RPIA LLC , PO Box 803, Westfield, IN 46074
Q. Do all Vendor pay on the same schedule?
A. No, they do not. Dawn and Wpackaging every 30 days, GM not sure many changes, LFI They are 60 to 90 days, Stratas Foods we file every quarter.
Q. What happens if I sell my business?
A. Communications are key here. We try to pay you up and until the date (Month) you sold your business. Poor communications = Issues.

Q. How do I use the E-Group?

A. I set you up and you receive a notification email. Then FROM THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU GAVE ME you go to TheRPIAGroup@googlegroups.com and send your email

Q. Are there “Rules” for the Egroup?
Yes, No politics or foul language to include any gross jokes. We are a professional group.
Q. Are other members open to receiving visitors?
A. Each member has his own policies. I have never heard of a Bakery turning down a request made in advance as long as the times are worked out. We all learn from each other.
Q. I am getting ready to buy a XXX piece of equipment. How do I get a review on the piece of equipment?
A. Start with the e-group. Many, many times someone will own the equipment and will review for you up to and including letting you visit to see the equipment under operation. You learn a lot that way.

A. When you join, you are also agreeing to a Confidentiality Agreement not to share specific RPIA Information

Membership

Q. What are the qualifications for membership?
A. Gross Sales of 1.5 million or more in Gross Sales.
A1 Example $ 750K Bakery + $ 750 Deli Qualifies.
Q. I have 6 stores do I have to pay dues for each store?
